To begin, the solitary writer for the weekly watermelon wishes all Chinese a happy lunar new year in advance. May the year of the rabbit be a year of abunnydance.

Writing on this post began at 2330h of Saturday. Perhaps it will be complete just in time for a Sunday morning 000h publish. Seems long, but I put slightly more effort in proof reading the watermelon posts, and there is slightly more than usual for the week.

And so begins a new year, and with it brings new possibilities of wasting time. The weekly watermelon shall hopefully be a weekly feature here wasting your time. “Hopefully”, because it may not be weekly, or there may be no one wasting their time on it. But still, here’s the weekly watermelon, for now, and remember, take it with a pinch of salt.
